Each week we present a collection of artwork from a variety of artists curated around a common theme. This week the theme is Land. As in the earth. As in not water. I chose the theme of land after travelling to the Okanagan, a part of BC I had never ventured through. The dramatic mountains and shift from rain forest to semi-desert sage brush simultaneously inspired me and took my breath away. I ached to get into the studio afterward to create some work inspired by what I had seen. These artists experienced a similar compulsion to create gorgeous landscapes. Here are some carefully selected artworks curated around the idea of Land.
